The information that is requested is strictly used for facilitating the program. The data will always remain protected, and we do not share this information with any other organizations for commercial purposes. Teachers - We consider the following information to be personally identifiable information: your first and last name, e-mail address, and school information (school name, classroom number, address, phone number, and principal). This information will be used to enroll your class, confirm your status as a viable teacher at the location provided, notify you of program changes and additions, and for contact use in the event there are technical problems.
Letter P.A.L.S. Summerfest 2009 is intended for simultaneous parent and child participation. Registration by a child only is prohibited. Teachers should confirm individual parent participation by cross-referencing the signed and returned Parents Paws for Reading slips for each participating parent and student. Parent "Paws for Reading" parent confirmation slips are conveniently located on the bottom of the Parent Notification Letter. The Parent Notification Letter can be found in your personal teacher’s area upon login.
Parents and Children - We consider the following information to be personally identifiable information: your first and last name, child's first name, teacher's first and last name, parent's email address and child's grade. This information will be used to enroll your child under his/her teacher's classroom identification number. The use of your child's first name is solely for the purpose of personalization of each letter and for teacher recognition of completion of each letter found on his/her Paws for Reading Classroom Chart and Wall of Fame if they complete all 24 letters and adjoining activities.
Cookies
Like many web sites, we use "cookies" to provide you with a seamless browsing experience when you logon to Readersarewinners.org or Letterpals.org. The cookies are automatically removed when you close your browser and/or when you log out. We do not, however, use cookies for marketing purposes.
